Interesting bit of info in this article about the Rob Knox Film Festival:

[Ben] Trebilcook, is currently producing a martial arts film with a twist, called Candy with martial arts champion Zara Phythian, as well as actors Hugo Speer, Jason Flemyng and Graham Cole.

Might we soon see Graham doing so flying scissor-kicks?!

Ex-London gangster Harry Payne retires to Norfolk to be close to his wife, driven mad when he was forced to kill his best friend, psychopathic gang boss Eugene McCann. Immediately he is drawn into a murder mystery in which an obsessive local police detective targets him as the killer. However, unknown to anyone, Harry has psychic abilities he has always suppressed with alcohol. Now he must confront the supernatural and his own personal demons to save his wife and free the tormented souls of the ghosts that haunt him.

Scrooged!

Graham will be playing the role of Scrooge in A Christmas Carol.

The stars of Lichfield Garrick’s forthcoming production of A Christmas Carol visited Erasmus Darwin House to launch the new show.

The cast, headed up by The Bill star Graham Cole who is playing Ebenezer Scrooge, gathered in full costume to get into the spirit of Christmas past.

The Georgian town house was chosen as a fitting venue for the cast to meet for the first time to formally launch the new production.

Graham said:

“The whole cast is really excited about the show. It has a great team behind it who has created a superb adaptation of the script. And, with brand new set and costume designs, a sparkling musical score, special effects, including real snow and skating on ice scenes, A Christmas Carol is sure to be a sensation and the perfect show to get audiences into the festive spirit.”

Former stunt rider Eddie Kidd finally crossed the finish line of the London marathon on Monday night 43 days after setting out on the 26 mile route.

Eddie, who is paralysed and brain damaged after a motorbike stunt went horrifically wrong in 1996, defied doctors who said he would never walk again to complete the gruelling course.

Crowds of supporters went wild as a beaming Eddie walked the last steps on a special frame, aided by his wife Sam and celebrity pals Ray Winstone and former The Bill actor Graham Cole.

The Haunting of Harry Payne

Graham is currently shooting a new film called “The Haunting of Harry Payne” in South Norfolk.

The film reunites Graham with his former The Bill co-star, Tony Scannell (DS Roach)

The movie, which is being produced by Norwich-based Equilibrium Films and is directed by Martyn Pick, tells the story of ex-gangster Harry Payne who leaves prison after serving time for manslaughter, and retires to a mysterious Norfolk village to care for his disturbed wife, Susan.

There he becomes prime suspect in a series of brutal murders where women are being killed at the crossroads where a ghostly “white lady” has been sighted. At the same time Harry is being haunted by the spirit of the man he killed.
